America Prevails

I am Thankful this morning that the Republic has prevailed and a recovery is coming from the disaster of the last 4 years of a stolen election. We have been brought back from brink of being a banana republic or worse.

When I went to bed last night a little after midnight from watching the returns and doing some of my own projections. I was confident that Donald Trump would be the 47th President of the United States. Although there was a chance that Kamala Harris could win if she took Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona. But it wasn’t in her favor to do so without fraud.

I made a note about the vote returns in those key states as they were when I went to bed. Donald Trump was leading by as many as 7 points in some of those states. I could sleep well knowing that the morning would dawn a new day of hope for our country.

Not only did Donald Trump win the White House, but the Republicans have gained control of the Senate and have kept control of the House as well. On a local level there were some ups and downs. But it looks like Iowa still has a Republican majority.

Thank God for His mercy. We have exercised the rights given to us by the Almighty and enshrined in the 2nd greatest document ever written. The people of the United States have spoken and have, for the most part, struck down Leftism in the many forms it comes in and again we get to keep the Republic a little while longer.

A Harris Victory

If Kamala Harris is elected to serve as our 47th President this evening the Right will want to be certain that the results were honest and without fraud. There will be court cases filed to audit specific districts. This is due to the multiple unaddressed irregularities in the 2020 election.

There will be no large scale or wide spread rioting, looting, or burning of cities. There may be clashes between the Right and Left that could be violent but the majority will be caused by the Left. What few caused by the Right will be the fringe groups.

If the Republican’s keep control of Congress they might not certify the election if there are on-going court battles about the integrity of the election. But if it is found that no fraud has been committed. Then the election will stand.

A Harris Administration on the other hand would crack down on Conservatives, Christians, and others on the Right. Limiting our Freedom’s of speech, assembly, and rights to Worship. She is a clear and present danger to our Republic.

The United States would become a One-Party state. Marshal Law could be declared. The Supreme Court would be packed. It would be the end of the Republic.

A Trump Victory

If Donald J. Trump is elected to serve as our 47th President this evening the Left will lose their minds. Trump Derangement Syndrome will be on full power. And it will be disgraceful.

The Left will riot. They be destructive to property and endanger innocent lives. People will die and rioting, looting, and the burning of our cities will be like the signal fires of Gondor calling for aid. They will be seen across the nation.

If the House isn’t won, come January there will be an Impeachment started in Congress before anything else is done. That will be the Left’s priority. And I’m sure that the Left will say “Russia, Russia, Russia” again. And attempt to make everyone believe that Trump is the next Hitler.

All of this is nonsense of course. It’s the Left showing their true colors. Violence, lies, and death, are all hallmarks of the Left. They manufacture a crisis and then claim to be the solution to it.

It will be a fight when Trump wins. A fight to preserve the Republic or fall to the Leftist ideals of “Democracy”, mob rule, and totalitarianism.

The Electoral College

I’ve written about the Electoral College before in a previous incarnation of this blog. So again I am revisiting this important topic on the eve of our national election.

The United States is a Constitutional Federal Republic. Notice that the word “democracy” is not in our form of government. Our Founding Fathers were brilliant men and knew the dangers of a democracy. This is why they gave us a republic.

The Electoral College is the greatest example of our republic. It ensures that every state in the union has a say on who becomes our president. Without it, the large cities on the coasts would decide by a popular vote. And those of us in the “fly over” country would never have a voice. We lack the numbers to overrule their voices.

Our Founding Fathers were aware of this, even in the 18th century. Thus they created the Electoral College to level the playing field and so every state would have a fair voice.

In the Electoral College system each state gets a 1 vote for each Senator and Representative. Thus Iowa, my home state, currently has 6 votes in the Electoral College.

How these Electors are chosen is up to each state. And what rules they must follow are also up to each state.

Do I think that the Electoral College should be replaced by the popular vote? Absolutely not. For all the reasons already stated and why the Founding Fathers created it in the first place. Do I think there should be changes. Yes there should be some changes.

I do have a couple of reforms that would make the system better than it is today. And be a vote generator for tomorrow. And I think they would help preserve the Republic as well.

At the state level, all the states must follow the lead of Maine and Nebraska and do away with the rule of “winner takes all” method. Thus the number of votes becomes proportional to the win.

This is far more equitable and fair to the candidates. If you get 49% of the popular votes, you should get 49% of the Electoral votes as well. It would also cause the candidates to take every state seriously and improve their campaigns.

The 2nd reform would have to take place at the Federal level. It has been many decades since the last time the House of Representatives was increased due to the increase in population. And now each Representative has far too many constituents to adequately represent them.

Thus, raise the number of Representatives. Lower the maximum number of constituents for each Representative. This also increases the number of Electoral votes available which would in turn increase the number needed to win the Presidency.

Right now, the total of Electoral Votes is 538 and 270 are needed to be President. A simple majority. Hypothetically, if we increase each state my just 1 House member the available Electoral Votes would be 588 and the number needed to win would be 295.

Perhaps, even a 3rd reform would be in order. And it could be taken on it’s own or added to either one of the other 2 reforms. Instead of using a simple majority vote for the Electors, change it to a 2/3rd majority vote.

If this change was made on it’s own. The number of needed Electoral votes would change from 270 to 359 or 360. This would definitely make the candidates and the electorate pay more attention to the campaigns and the issues. And again every state in the union would be important.

Election Integrity

With the official election just around the corner thoughts and concerns about the integrity of our elections abound. There have already been reported instances of fraud in the ongoing early voting period. How many of these instances are there and how many have yet to be discovered.

From non-citizens voting and other ineligible persons to down right fraudulent ballots being accepted and tabulated without verification. These issues should concern everyone no matter what political party they may or may not be affiliated with on the voter rolls.

We can have election integrity again. But first the 2024 election must be without any of the irregularities that plagued the 2020 election. To gain election integrity the following must be done:

  • Voter ID must be in all 50 states and all US territories.
  • No ballot should be tabulated prior to election day.
  • All early and absentee ballots must be authenticated.
  • All ballots must be tabulated within 24 hours of the polls closing. We have the technology to do this. It shouldn’t take weeks.
  • All mail-in ballots must be postmarked and they must be received by election day before the polls close. No exceptions to this rule.
  • All vote tabulating machine software code must be open sourced and reviewable on demand at anytime.
  • In the absence of any block-chain voting software, any tabulating machine must not be connected to the internet while the polls are open and the votes are being tabulated.
  • All ballots counted must be observed by independent observers.

And lastly to further insure election integrity the voter rolls themselves must be regularly scrubbed to insure only legitimate voters are registered.

Is it Psionics or Magic?

Magic, in gaming and fiction, is usually defined as power from somewhere else. While Psionics is defined as power from within and no outside source at all.

For may years there have been gamers and others who state that the Force of the Jedi in Star Wars is an example of psionics. But this would be incorrect since the definition of the Force is an energy field created by life that surrounds everything and binds it all together. That is really magic.

Thus the Force of Star Wars is space-magic. And this form of magic, when practiced by the Jedi or the Sith, is done without material components. At times we do see both verbal and somatic components in the use of Force powers by the Jedi and the Sith but not always.

There are other Force traditions that do use material components that give them an edge when using their Force spells (powers). So it only reinforces the true nature of the Force.

Additionally, magic is sometimes separated into two categories. The world’s most famous role-playing game does this, and calls these categories arcane magic and divine magic.

Given that the Force has a Will of it’s own and calls to those who have a connection to it. Then the Force is of the Divine magic category. And this too falls into Star Wars canon as the Force is a religion of sorts.

Another example is the Wizarding World and what it calls magic is nothing of the kind. The source of a Wizard or Witch’s power doesn’t come from someplace else it comes from within. They are born with talent that can be trained. This is psionics by the established definition.

Their power is hidden behind magical trappings and decorations. Traditions run deep and are old. But many Wizards are capable of casting “wandless magic” and even non-verbal magic. Some traditions of the Wizarding World specialize in such types of magic. And what is a Wizard’s wand? Nothing more than a psionic amplifier or resonator. This is why it is so important.

Even in the world’s most famous role-playing game there is one arcane spellcaster that doesn’t fit the mold. The Sorcerer.

A Sorcerer’s arcane power comes from within the sorcerer himself. Long ago some outside agent caused the change in the Sorcerer’s bloodline but that outside agent doesn’t play a part now. A Sorcerer is really a Psionic user as his power is his and internal to him.

The Litmus Test

Since the internet began back in the days of BBS, then to usenet, then on to message boards, and chat rooms, there has been one litmus test that proved, 100%, that the poster had lost the argument they were making. The argument litmus test was a universal standard. And now here in the age of social media it seems to have vanished.

That litmus test was if a user compared anyone to Adolf Hitler or any event to Nazi Germany the argument was over and that user had lost.

Today we have multiple posts of this nature out on social media. Everyone of them is a foolish post. Everyone of them has lost the argument with their foolishness. And everyone that posts these memes is a fool.

No person is or will be as bad or evil as Adolf Hitler and no government or administration comes even close to the level of Nazi Germany. None.

This is why that litmus test has always existed on the internet since it’s inception. It is true today as it was decades ago.

The Pope is Wrong

This month Pope Francis, an Argentinian Marxist, told children in Singapore that all religions were like languages and paths to the One true God. This includes religions that murder Christians, deny the divinity of Christ Jesus, and religions that even deny Christ existed.

I have written before about this man’s Marxist theology in honoring those opposed to Christianity and how he doesn’t follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as presented in the Bible.

And now he is condemning children, who have an opportunity to hear the Truth and be saved, to damnation. Not to mention leading the world’s millions of Catholics down this path as well due to the false doctrine of Papal Infallibility.

There is only one path to God. There is only one way to heaven. And it is out of Love that we preach the Good News of the Gospel to the whole world. John 14:6 is very clear:

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Pope Francis is telling these children that Jesus isn’t necessary for their salvation. Whatever path they are on or choose in the future will take them God.

What an evil thing to do.

Not with Her

I am not with her. Not because she is a woman. I’m all for a woman president if it’s the right candidate. I am not with her. Not because she is of color. I don’t care about that either. I have supported other presidential candidates of color in the past.

If these are the only reasons you are voting for her. Please, for the survival of our Republic, take a hard look past these superficial items and look at the issues facing our nation instead.

I am not with her because of where she stands on almost every issue. We are not in agreement on these things. And morally I can not support a candidate that goes against my ethics and morals to such a degree.

I am not with her because of her record. She has done nothing in the last 3 1/2 years as Vice President. And her record in previous posts is just as bad if not worse.

I am not with her because she is a Leftist. A hater of the Republic and the Constitution.

I am not with her because she didn’t earn a single vote for her nomination. She was crowned in a coronation as the nominee of the Democratic Party. Going against the very name and betraying Democracy. Zero votes. No delegates. Yet she is the Nominee. Appointed and selected by the Democratic Elite.

This should be concerning to every Democratic Party member. Their voice was silenced with Joe Biden and the appointment of Kamala Harris as the nominee.

What Happened to Democracy

The Democratic Party has screamed that electing Republicans will destroy our democracy. Yet in the wake of President Biden’s withdraw from the 2024 election the Democratic Party and their supporters seem to have tossed democracy out the window.

Kamala Harris is now running for President and has taken over the Biden Campaign. But she hasn’t received a single vote for that office in any primary or caucus election.

We the people, the foundation of democracy, haven’t voted for her in that office. She hasn’t earned a single delegate for the Democratic National Convention in August.

But the DNC has anointed her the position of presumptive nominee anyway. All of Joe Biden’s delegates, won through the caucus and primary votes, are not automatically delegates for Kamala Harris. They are free agents and can vote for anyone at the DNC.

Unless of course democracy is only lip service for the Democratic Party. Then of course we see the true colors of this party of tyrants.
