The Queen is Dead. Long live the King.

Queen Elizabeth II has passed away and the world mourns her loss with England. For many of us we have only know a Queen being on the throne in Buckingham Palace. And now there is a King.

For many years I personally believed that the English monarchy would die if Charles became King. And I hoped that Elizabeth would out live her son so the crown would pass to Prince William instead of his father.

Queen Elizabeth leaves behind a 70 year legacy of rule. The longest ever for a British monarch. And she was a faithful servant of Christ and a good shepherd for the English people.

Now her son reigns in her stead as Charles III. A poor choice in a regal name given how the two previous English Kings ruled with that name.

But I am hopeful here, after a few chats with some of my English friends. They are hopeful as well for King Charles III and his reign. And we all just must accept the changes that are happening and will happen in His Majesty’s government.

Maybe third time is a charm for the Kings of England who go by the name of Charles.

One thing is for certain. King Charles III will not be on the throne as long as his beloved mother. At 73 years old, he is already in the sunset years of his life and the next monarch will also be a King. Perhaps ruling as William IV if my counting is correct.

I could very well see 3 English monarchs in my lifetime if the monarchy survives.

FBI Raids

If the FBI can raid the home of a former US President the following are all true:

  • The Republic is Lost.
  • Our Liberties are Lost.
  • The FBI has been weaponized as secret state police.
  • No one is immune to it, unless you are part of the Democratic Party elite.

I believe this action to be the same kind of attack that the Obama Administration did against Donald Trump during his first run for President. After all the Biden Administration is just Obama’s 3rd term anyway.

What we have under the Democratic Party administration is a weaponized Federal government. Hell bent on crushing any opposition to it’s policies by any means necessary. With the goal of making the Democratic Party the only viable party in America. A one party state.

This by any name is Leftist. No matter what you call it; Statism, Totalitarianism, Communism, Socialism, Nazism, or just a plain dictatorship. It’s all the same. It is evil and corrupt to the very core.

These must truly be the Last Days of mankind indeed. And the shinning city on the hill is crumbling down from rot within rather than any outside agent against it.

Mass Shootings

The number of mass shootings in the US has skyrocketed in the 2 years that Biden has been President vs the previous 4 years of a Republican presidency. You would think the opposite would be true, the way the mainstream media spins stories.

There should be more mass shootings when a Republican is in office and when that party controls Congress. Since we all know that the Republican party is the party of the gun lobby. Old West style shootouts should be the norm on every street, every day, in every city of America.

Except we don’t. Mass shootings actually decline under a Republican controlled government in the US and only increase when the anti-2nd Amendment Democratic Left gets into power.

This would seem strange if one believed that these mass murderers were all Republican, pro-2nd Amendment gun owners, and “right-wing” conspiracy nuts, who just want to shoot and kill something. But this has never been the case in any mass shooting in American history.

Every mass shooting event has been perpetrated by a Leftist who hates the United States and the Constitution. And usually is found with some kind of manifesto that is pure garbage and anti-American. They are all terrorists and seek to end the United States as a free Republic.

Under a Republican controlled administration, which has always believed in law & order and justice. These Leftists plot, plan, and wait until the political tide shifts and another Democratic administration comes into power.

The Democratic Party in the US has shifted further and further Left every cycle since its inception. They will use the tools of a free republic to destroy it from within.

And the masses of useful idiots will demand the systematic dismantling of the Republic and Liberty in the name of safety. Something our Founding Fathers warned us about.

This is why there have been so many different mass shootings in America since Biden took office. The goal is to destroy the 2nd Amendment and disarm the people.

No Communion for You

Back in May, the Archbishop of San Francisco, the Most Reverend Salvatore Cordileone, issued a public statement concerning a prominent member of his archdiocese; Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.

After making numerous attempts to have a private meeting with The Speaker and being denied at every turn. The Archbishop did the only sensible and correct thing under Canon Law. He denied communion to her within his archdiocese.

This is a simple corrective measure used by the Church to bring attention to the matter to a wayward member. This isn’t political or the weaponizing of the Church. It has been used for centuries to correct errors.

Nancy Pelosi claims to be a devout Catholic in public, as do many other politicians. But she doesn’t follow Church teachings and doctrine when it comes to abortion and other sins. And her refusing to have a meeting with her own Archbishop clearly shows she is unrepentant in this matter.

Some say that communion or the Eucharist is for everyone. This is not true at all. It is for the body of believers not to the ungodly. And even within a Catholic Mass, communion is offered only to other Catholics, not to Protestants who may be attending.

At the end of June, The Speaker was traveling abroad and she attended Mass at the Vatican. There she received communion from the head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis himself.

This snub against one of the Pope’s archbishops doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. I have written many times about Pope Francis and his Marxist roots. He is a full blown serpent in the heart of the Garden of Christendom. A false teacher, an anti-Christ, and a Leftist.

Bodily Autonomy

Once again the Left is shouting about “Bodily Autonomy” and how it is an essential unconditional liberty. This due to the the recent opinion of the Supreme Court stating that there were in error back in 1973 about abortion being a right.

Of course, just last year, when another movement picked up the mantra of “My Body, My Choice”. The essential unconditional liberty of Bodily Autonomy suddenly had conditions and didn’t apply to those who didn’t want to opt out of the Covid Jab.

This just shows how two-faced the Left really is. Bodily Autonomy only applies to having an abortion on demand. Any other use just isn’t allowed. Unless the Left also supports it.

If Bodily Autonomy was really just an essential unconditional liberty. Then it would apply to anyone who claims “My Body, My Choice” for any condition.

But in reality, it is not. There are many laws that say what we can do and what we cannot due with our own bodies. Yet the Left doesn’t go out of their way to attack any of those laws.

The Left is only about rules for thee and not for me.

Row v. Wade Overturned

On Friday, the 24th of June in the Year of Our Lord 2022, the United States Supreme Court issued a historic opinion.

The overturning of the 1973 opinion of Roe v. Wade. Stating that the United States Constitution does not confer a fundamental right to an abortion.

This opinion does not outlaw the practice of abortion. It does return it to the Several States where it rightfully belongs to be legislated.

Abortion was never a right. And the US Supreme Court and lower courts have a long history of implying rights under the Constitution that just aren’t there. There is no right to an abortion.

There is a right to privacy of course. This is protected in the US Constitution. But that doesn’t mean that any person can end the life of another yet to be born child without cause.

What is an exceptable cause? That is for the States to determine. Because the right to Life and due process are protected by the US Constitution.

There maybe some instances where abortion is necessary. This does not diminish the fact that it is ending another life in the womb. It just should never be preformed for trivial reasons.

Of course the idiots on the Left are shouting that this is only the beginning. And think that the High Court will also issue other opinions such as removing the right to vote from women as well.

This absurd and shows the ignorance of those who believe such nonsense. The right to vote is clearly written in the US Constitution. And the High Court cannot simply issue an opinion removing it any more than they can issue an opinion voiding the 2nd Amendment.

Scared for the Future

A couple of weeks ago the Iowa Republican Party had its State Convention. And I am fearful for the future of my Country.

The mid-term convention is a quiet affair. It is filled with speeches of candidates running for those mid-term election offices and not much else.

There is always a vote on approving the rules of the convention and elected the convention chair and other officers. Usually without a hitch. No one wants to spend their Saturday all cooped up at the convention.

And then the only real business during a mid-term convention is to approve the party platform for the next two years. And this is where I became fearful.

There were two planks for consideration. The first was to have the state party be opposed to any call for a Convention of States. And the second was just the opposite, to have the state party in favor of any call for a Convention of States.

A hand counted votes was taken with the first proposed plank being approved by the majority of the delegates in the hall. A second hand count of votes was required and it resulted in the second plank being rejected by the majority of the delegates in the hall. A sure win for Iowa and the Republican Party.

But the Useful Idiots who support such a dangerous call wanted the results to be different. So much in fact, that they called for a motion to suspend the rules of the convention in hopes that the previous votes could be nullified and changed.

Ironically, this is what those Useful Idiots say would never happen at a Convention of States. The very thing that they are doing at the state convention of the party. And they are too blind to even see or understand it.

Fortunately, reason prevailed and the motion was defeated without the votes being altered or nullified. But this kind of thing could very easily happen at a Convention of States if one does get called. And it would spell the end for this Republic.

Ignorant Meme

There is a meme going around on Social Media right now that was so poorly thought out it just makes me laugh. Of course the useful idiots are posting and re-posting it every day.

So where to begin with the flaws of this meme? It obviously a half baked idea, much like most of the Left’s so-called “thoughts.”

Well we will start at the beginning.

Its a letter to the editor of a printed newspaper. I think only the Left still reads those rags. And without Social Media anything in a newspaper doesn’t stand a chance of getting any circulation in the world these days. Not a very good start.

Nothing is less patriotic than giving up your arms to another nations military. The is the definition of surrender. I don’t think that the author of the letter even knows what patriotism is or how it works.

Not a lot of Americans, patriotic or otherwise, even OWN an assault weapon. But this shows the ignorance of both the author and the Left who continue to put out this kind of garbage. They really mean any semi-automatic rifle, which is most of them. But none of them are assault weapons by definition.

Then how does the desired outcome happen? One cannot mail weapons or ammunition through international mail. That and sending American weapons to a foreign nation, you would need to send ammunition too otherwise it would be worthless.

To have them shipped, would be an expensive and logistical undertaking. Sending weapons to a foreign nation’s military would be a violation of any number of treaties and international agreements.

Thus causing the senders to be war criminals at the least if not plunging America herself into this war and escalating the scope of the conflict.

Again, the idea is bunk to begin with and there is no way to implement the idea either. What fools are those who believe this kind of nonsense.

What is an AR-15?

An AR-15 Style Rifle

Most people would say an Assault Rifle, after all that’s what the AR means. And they would be wrong. AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle, the original manufacturer of the weapon.

The AR-15 has been copied by multiple manufactures over the decades since its introduction in 1956. And are commonly called an AR-15 even though they are truly an AR-15 style rifle.

The term Assault Rifle is debatable. Since “assault” is an action and thus any rifle can be used in an assault and be called an assault rifle in my book. Hell you can have an assault screwdriver if you use one in an assault.

But this is how the US Military defines an Assault Rifle:

  • It must be capable of selective fire. (that means Semi-Automatic, Fully Automatic, and Burst)
  • It must have an intermediate-power cartridge: more power than a pistol but less than a standard rifle or battle rifle, examples of intermediate cartridges are the 7.92×33mm Kurz, the 7.62×39mm and 5.56×45mm NATO.
  • Its ammunition must be supplied from a detachable box magazine.
  • It must have an effective range of at least 300 meters (330 yards).

The Colt AR-15, the most common AR-15 rifle in civilian hands, is semi-automatic-only. It is not capable of selective fire and therefore NOT an assault rifle by definition.

Semi-automatic weapons are the most common form of firearms today in both handguns and rifles and they have been around for a century. Semi-automatic means you don’t have to cock the weapon every time you fire a round. The next round loads automatically for easy firing.

The Browning BAR MK 3 is the same as any AR-15. Except it doesn’t look like a scary military weapon. Which is really why some people seem to hate the AR-15 style rifle.

Firearm enthusiasts like the AR-15 mainly due to the weapons versatility and dependability. A tried and true design that takes a lot of punishment.

So it’s not really the weapon that is the problem. We have had semi-automatic rifles and pistols for more than 100 years at this point. Although we have had mass shootings documented as far back as the 1920’s. A time period of high crime, gangsters, and fully automatic weapons. I’m guessing that mass shootings go back to the beginning of firearms.

Yes the weapon makes it easier to kill innocent people. But it shouldn’t be punished, nor should law abiding people. The weapon is necessary for a free people to remain free against an oppressive government. When a government becomes contrary to the Will of the People. Guns are the first victims.

Another Gun Grab Attempt

Here we are again. Another debate on the 2nd Amendment and gun ownership.

I have stated this many times before and I will state it again and again. The 2nd Amendment was written to ensure that We the People could take up arms and defend ourselves against the 2 greatest evils in the world. Our fellowman and the government.

The 2nd Amendment wasn’t to ensure one could go hunting. The Founding Fathers just got back from fighting a war against their government. The weapons owned by the citizens were at least the same if not better than the weapons issued to soldiers.

Time and time again our government has enacted laws on all levels; local, state, and Federal that violate the Constitution of the United States when it comes to the 2nd Amendment.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

This right has been infringed on time after time. And more infringements will not stop any form of mass shootings. Criminals by definition break laws. Infringements only help criminals and take away the rights of law abiding people who want to protect themselves and their families from harm.

Some may ask if I think a citizen of the United States should be able to own a fully automatic machine gun, or a combat jet fighter, a cannon, a battleship, or even an intercontinental ballistic missile. The answer is yes. We the People, should be able to have exactly what the government has for weapons. If you can afford it. Have it.

In a previous post I broke down the 2nd Amendment for those ignorant of history and language. I’m not going to say it again here, but I will link it so you can read it again.

If we take a look at mass shootings. We will find several things to be true. In most cases they all take place in “gun free zones”. Were only a posted sign keeps out weapons. No one who is going to kill innocent people is ever going to obey that signage.

Also in almost every case, the shooter turns out to be some kind of radical Leftist nutjob. A shooter is never a Bible-believing Christian or Republican.

And oddly the number of mass shootings tends to increase whenever the Democratic Party is in the White House or has control of Congress. Almost a conspiracy to try to create emotions in the public to infringe more on the 2nd Amendment.

The recent mass shooting in Texas is a horrible tragedy and loss of life that could have been prevented. Not by enacting more infringement laws against gun owners. But by taking an active roll in protecting our children and our fellow citizens. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the survivors and their families.

Schools need to be gun active zones. Teachers and other staff need to be armed and trained to effectively use a firearm in the case of a shooter entering school grounds.

Police and other protective agencies need to be properly trained to deal with a mass shooter as well. In the Texas case, the police did NOTHING for 40 to 45 minutes. Instead of going in and removing the threat.

These two minor changes could have saved the lives that were lost. Only the gunman would have been killed. Again, any death is a tragic loss of life but it would have saved many more.

Recently there was a mass shooting in West Virginia too. A gunman opened fire at a birthday party. In this case, a woman had a firearm with her and was trained to use it. And she did. She shot and killed the gunman saving countless lives in the process.

This is the very thing that we need to do. We cannot wait for the police to decide to act 40-45 minutes. This happened at Sandy Hook as well. And children lost their lives.

We need to end gun free zones. Enact Constitutional Carry in all States, since the Constitution already allows it. Find teachers and other staff in schools who would like to receive training in arms. And then arm them.

Then when a deranged madman comes on the school grounds to harm children and others. They are met with deadly force. Children are safe and learn that guns are an important life saving tool in the right hands.
